1080p60 selected but TV displays 24fps?

Hello all, I just got Xfinity and I noticed watching sports has been an eyesore. I did some troubleshooting and I found out if I change the resolution on my PXD01ANI box to 720p, it fixed my problem. Now when I select 1080p60, my TV says a 1080p24 signal is being sent to it. I have a picture below displaying the issue. I would like to select the 1080p60 resolution rather than the 720p.
