1 hour pause time
Xfinity advertised 1 hour pause and rewind for live tv. I spent hours researching to get the correct box a little over a year ago the dvr xv1v1 and on service visit it was replaced with xg2v2-p and the p means I cannot watch recording and it keep any time from live tv. So not only did I get screwd out of 1 hour also cannot retain any live tv on this one. Why is the technology provided getting less technological and yet still advertise the high technology.

@user_8bn876 Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for reaching out so we can get you the DVR box that works best for your household. Do you pay for DVR service or do you have the included 20-hour Cloud storage?
If you're paying for DVR service, I would recommend finding the closest Xfinity service center, using the link to schedule an appointment to save time waiting in line, then replacing your XG2 with an XG1.
