Xfinity ignores my marketing preferences

I have unsubscribed from all marketing (and even other) communications from Xfinity.  They continue to send me their spam.  I talked to the chat agent who told me they would take care of it.  Total waste of my time.  What can I do?  I am on the verge of cutting the cord.
