Preferred Email Account

My Comcast.net email address has been hacked -- I would like to change my preferred email address to another account.  However, after each 'successful' attempt, I log back in and see the preferred email address reverts back to my Comcast.net account.

 

How do I permanently fix this?

Clear your browser cache and try again.

Thanks for your response. I did try this already and again with your response.

Unfortunately, the change displays as successful but reverts back to my Comcast.net email address.

It seems impossible to change from the comcast email as the "preferred" email. I speak with a rep every week, get promises and a "ticket" number and nothing happens. Since I never use my comcast email I have had to move back to paper billing since otherwise the bill comes to an email I never look at.
