New account: "Hmm, the page didn't load correctly"

I opened my account today but when I try to login it fails. I tried calling customer service and doing live chat but the agents did not know how to fix it. I searched for other posts and found that the same error appeared here:

https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/signin-and-account-management/new-account-hmm-the-page-didnt-load-correctly/61834ccb24e8282ebaf10d55

There were mentions in this post that @XfinityDena and @XfinityAshley know the solution. I am unable to sign in anywhere to send a direct message.

Concern moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to the Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_2f550a and thank you for reaching out to us about your service. I would be reaching out if I was not able to login too! Please feel free to send us your full name and complete address in a Direct Message:

(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation!)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

  • Press Enter to send it

See https://comca.st/3y60HPf for an example.

I am experiencing the same issue. I also do not see an option to create a direct message to support -- only the bell and the user icon.

I have also run into this roadblock.

For some reason I am trying to become an Xfinity customer (what am I thinking, right?),

and the first step was to create an account & login (haven't completed the purchase yet).

At login I am automatically redirected from the main account page to

'https://customer.xfinity.com/?beta=1' (are you testing beta software on us?).

That page will not load: 'Hmm, the page didn't load correctly'

Using an up-to-date Google Chrome (Mac, 106.0.5249.91) I see many errors in the log:

Refused to load the script 'https://www.clarity.ms/tag/uet/5280002' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval'
Refused to load the image 'https://analytics.twitter.com/i/adsct?bci=3&eci=2&event_id=d91d4541-37e9-4a44-8747-5269995f7a84&events=%5B%5B%22pageview%22%2C%7B%7D%5D%5D&integration=advertiser&p_id=Twitter&p_user_id=0&pl_id=5e573737-941c-415c-8c53-ea62036863b1&tw_document_href=https%3A%2F%2Fcustomer.xfinity.com%2F%3Fbeta%3D1&tw_iframe_status=0&tw_order_quantity=0&tw_sale_amount=0&txn_id=nuptm&type=javascript&version=2.3.27' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "img-src 'self'

- lots of '400 Unauthorized: Missing Authorization header' errors

I'm not sure how to proceed in joining this happy Xfinity family.

Oh no! That's not the experience we want for you. We'd love to welcome you to the Xfinity family. I'd like to see how I can help with creating your account here on my end. Can you send a direct message with your first and last name and service address? To send a direct message click the "Direct Messaging" chat icon in the top right corner of the page, then click on the pen and pad icon and enter "Xfinity Support" in the "To" section of the chat.

I no longer work for Comcast.

My apologies, please send the address where you would like to get services installed.

It's too soon for installation now, I have not been able to complete purchasing a plan yet!

Ok. So when you're online and receive that error, are you trying to see what or if services are available at that address? Other than Google, are you getting this error on other browsers?

I no longer work for Comcast.
