need to make an online payment but comcast wants an additional email address

I have an email address through comcast, and I gave them my cellphone number (let the spam texts begin!) and it won't let me make an online payment because I either do not have, or won't share with comcast, any additional email address (besides the one comcast already has on record). Then I find out comcast no longer has an support channel that is pure email based.

Suggestions?

We wouldn't have as many problems if folks wised up and pushed to have all data providers classified as "tier 2 common carriers" so they would be regulated by state public utility commissions.

You can make a payment using any of the following methods:

Xfinity App: Open the app, select the Account tab, tap Make a Payment, and choose your payment amount and payment method.
Online: Sign in to your account through the Xfinity website to make a one-time payment or set up automatic payments.
By Phone: Call 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489) and follow the prompts to make a payment through our automated system.
By Mail: Send a check or cashier's check using the payment remittance slip included with your monthly bill.
In Store: Visit a local Xfinity Store and use one of our self-service kiosks, which accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and traveler's checks.
