"Looks Like Something Went Wrong"

Hello, I'd like to request your help. When I try to access my account information and other Xfinity webpages on any of my PCs using either Chrome or Edge, the page in question loads briefly and then switches to a "Looks like something went wrong" error message. I am unable to access these Xfinity webpages as a result. I have tried refreshing the pages, clearing cookies, logging out and back in. Please help.

@SgtHowl Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forums page. We are very sorry to hear that you're having issues accessing our Xfinity sites but we can definitely see what is going on. Since you have already tried a good number of things we would have asked you to try, can you also try to pull the power cable out of your modem for about 2-minutes and then plug it back in? It sounds like you are experiencing a glitch and this is normally the fix for it.

@XfinityBenjaminM​ This is a long-standing problem that has persisted through several modem and router reboots. As this is preventing me from accessing my account information, could you please refer the issue to someone who is familiar with this problem? Thank you.

Let's start by getting your account pulled up, and then we can look deeper into this issue. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message
