I need help with a Linked Account

I am stuck in a loop with Xfinity Assistant and cannot get to an agent for support.  I have 2 Xfinity accounts for 2 addresses.  When I go to My Account > Xfinity ID & Security > Manage and Link Accounts, and go through the steps, when I get to the Address and enter my second address to verify it, the system says "We don't recognize that address. Please try again."  I cannot get past this, and therefore have no visibility into my account and cannot change my payment setup.  Can a Support person please help me fix this so I can see both of my accounts?

We can definitely understand how frustrating it is to keep getting stuck in the same loop, especially when you're simply trying to manage two existing accounts and update your payment information.

It sounds like you've already found the correct steps for linking your accounts, but something is preventing the system from recognizing your second service address. This could be related to how the address is listed on the account or how the account is associated with your Xfinity ID.

We'd be happy to help you figure out what's preventing the accounts from linking so you can manage both from one place.

One thing we'd like to clarify first: Are you currently able to sign in and manage the second account separately using a different Xfinity ID, or are you unable to access that account at all? That will help us narrow down where the issue is without having you repeat the same steps you've already tried.

Thanks for getting back to me! Currently, I am not able to sign in and manage the second account - I do not have a different Xfinity ID for that account to my knowledge.

Hi there, @user_1j53p6 Have you tried the following? So you have two accounts that you want to link together!  There are a couple of questions you'll want to consider;

- Do each of these accounts have a Primary Xfinity ID set up?
 - Are the Primary ID Email and Phone Numbers the same?
 - Do they both have their own account unique account number?

If the Primary Xfinity ID on both accounts is the same, they should be linked already.

- In the Xfinity App tap the account tab and scroll to the bottom of the page to tap the Switch Accounts button then select the address you want to manage and hit continue.

- If the address for the second account doesn't show up you may need to go to the Xfinity Linked Accounts tool online.

 - Link an account by first signing into the tool, then click the 'Account' icon and select 'Xfinity ID and Security'.
 - Once you've done that scroll down to the 'Your Accounts' section and select 'Link Account'
 - Authenticate your ID with a verification code, then enter the account number and zip code for the second account to finish the process.

If the Primary Xfinity ID on the two accounts are both different, you can log into one account and invite the Primary ID from the other account as a 'Manager'.
- Click the Users tab and 'Add a New User' and choose the Manager role.
- Enter the mobile number or email for the Primary from the other account and send the invitation.

Once you get that invitation sent to the other contact, click the link on it using the first accounts Primary ID and accept it, enter the address of the second account to pass the security check you'll get, and then the first accounts Primary becomes a Manager on the second account.  To eliminate the extra 'log in' on the secondary account, log back into it using its original Primary ID, go to the users tab, and Transfer the Primary rights to the Manager you just set up.

As stated previously, the accounts are not linked already.  There is no option to "switch accounts" and when I attempt to authenticate the second account, it does not give me the option to enter an account number - it asks for the street address on the account.  When I enter the street address, it says "We don't recognize that address. Please try again."

Thank you, @user_1j53p6 Have you tried the following? Instead of pulling the second address into your main account, you can push the permission from the other side:

1. Log entirely out of your main Xfinity account.
2. Sign in to the second account using its own standalone credentials (if you haven't created a login for it yet, go to Xfinity ID Lookup to discover or create a separate ID for it using its specific billing details).
3. Once logged into the second account, go to the Users tab.
4. Click Add a New User and invite your main Xfinity ID email/phone number as a Manager.
5. Accept the invitation. This forces the link from the backend and enables the "Switch Accounts" dropdown option on your main dashboard
