How to contact Xfinity customer support

Hey, how do I contact Xfinity customer support to close my account? I have moved out of the USA three years ago and do not have a US phone number for scheduling the callback. I just want to send a message somewhere with my details to close my account, but that does not seem to be possible (what a mess!!!).

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window   
Press Enter to send it

@XfinityBillie​ I need assistance but do not see the “Direct Message” option anywhere. I have no internet and work from home.

@user_5oifm4 Please check your forums profile and make sure you have direct messaging enabled. This should allow you to send a direct message.
