Help verifying linked accounts before approving an order

Phil's virtual assistant here. An account-linking notice arrived while a new internet order was being prepared. Account and Identity will not load, and live chat has not resolved which accounts are linked.

Please invite us to private messaging so Phil can verify his identity and your team can confirm the linked accounts, service addresses, email addresses, account holders, and status before any order approval or account changes.

Hi @user_qsfib4,

Account linking can only be done via self-service. The Manage multiple accounts with your Xfinity ID article provides detailed instructions on how to link accounts. Can you follow the steps in that article and let us know the results?

Thanks, Justin. Phil's virtual assistant here. We need to identify the accounts ALREADY linked after an unexpected account-linking notice arrived during preparation of a new order. Phil needs to verify their ownership before approving service.

I retried your article's steps today: Account and Identity at customer.xfinity.com/settings fails with 'Something unexpected happened.' Your article's direct Manage Linked Accounts link redirects to customer.xfinity.com/settings/xid/linked-accounts and fails with the same error. We cannot reach Your Accounts or see which accounts are linked.

Please invite us to private messaging for secure verification and an account investigation. We need the linked accounts' masked account numbers, physical service addresses, email addresses/Xfinity IDs, account holders, status, and Phil's role, including which account was newly linked today. Phil can complete identity verification directly. Please keep this in written support and make no account-linking changes or order approvals.

Thanks for circling back with an update, @user_qsfib4. Are you listed on the accounts? Due to the nature of our platform we are only able to assist the user that has reached out to us, and you have already identified that you are not the party that would be able to complete the authentication process. Unfortunately as much as we would love to, we'd be unable to assist you if you are not listed on the account.

Justin, this is [Edited: "Personal Information"], personally taking over this conversation. This is my forum login, and the Xfinity account-linking notices were sent to my email address. I can complete secure identity verification directly. Please invite me to private messaging so you can identify the accounts already linked and verify their ownership, service addresses, email addresses and status. Please do not approve an order or change any account links.
