Email compromise with 2FA turned on

Where is Xfinity's communication to their customers about their data breach.  I got a letter stating that the preferred email address was changed but I had already fixed it 4 days ago and then my password had an issue again today.  As these articles say, Xfinity is currently not secure and where is their notification to their customers.  I want to know what they are doing.  I should be billing them for my time.

Xfinity does not reach out to its customers about a data breach and we have to hear about it from the news.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Yeah. Unfortunately this is still happening to many customers with no response or resolution from Comcast.  They believe that a password reset fixes the issue, this is incorrect, it simply delays the next hack.  Without a permanent fix this continues to happen over and over again.

I agree, why is this being reported everywhere but by comcast? Sigh.

Read the statement at the FTC link.

Have you gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill?  If so, the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!
