Comcast email not working on new iphone

I updated to a new iphone and now my email won't work on the phone and it says the server is not responding.  I tried deleting and redoing the settings and still won't work.  I don't really know what else to do to get it to work but its going on 4 or 5 days of error messages.

Hey there, @user_auaeca, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your email issues. Is it only on the new iPhone you are having issues with your email? Are you using a third-party client to access your email like the Mail app, or how are you accessing it?

How are you attempting to access your email? Are you using a third-party app?

I am also having issues getting my emails lately on my iphone. I keep getting a message stating "mail.comcast.net" is not responding. I use the mail app on the Iphone. I have deleted the accounts and it worked for a day or two and then started again. I have checked the third party access box online and still does not work. how can I access my emails without logging into xfinity.com?

Hello @user_s7myvd The first thing you will want to do is make sure that the 3rd party access is enabled by following the steps found here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access

Once enabled or if already enabled you will want to reference this article to make sure all the Apple Mail setting are properly entered to be receiving the email forwarding.

Please try these options provided as it resolves the issues in most cases. If you are still having issues after confirming all of this is correctly set up we can help troubleshoot further.
