Access not Authorized
Hello, I'm a new customer and signed up for Xfinity internet 2 days ago, I am unable to sign into the Xfinity app because I get an "Access not Authorized" error. It says I "signed in successfully, but you must be an Xfinity user to enjoy this service". Also, on the website, I can sign in with my Xfinity ID as the website displays my name, but if I try and access anything about my account nothing works and sometimes just takes me through an endless login loop or displays "A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null". I've tried clearing cache, cookies and creating another Xfinity ID but it says I've already created an ID which I did with my email and phone number; nothing works. Any help would be appreciated so I can log into the app and view my account information. I purchased my own modem and router if that has anything to do with it.

Okay, I figured that's what was going on, but I wanted to be sure. Since the account isn't active, yet you are correct, you have to wait until you have your modem installed and online for the UserID to find the account on the app.

I’m getting the same issue, spent 6 hours on the phone with support spent and no one can help.
