Xinfinity promise

Dear Xfinity Support Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the misleading information I received while signing up for Xfinity services.

At the time of taking the contract, I was clearly informed that:

  • Comcast Internet 1 Gbps plan would cost $50 per month.

  • One mobile line would be free, and the second line would cost $20 per month.

  • Installation charges would be waived off.

  • A $200 +$200 gift card would be provided for two mobile lines.

  • Two mobile devices would be free, with no activation charges.

However, after placing the order and contacting customer care, I was informed with a completely different story:

  • The activation fee is $20 per line.

  • No prepaid gift card is available.

  • The devices are not free and require monthly installment payments.

This is a very disappointing experience, and I feel misled by the sales promises made initially. I have never faced such issues with other service providers, and this situation has wasted both my time and trust.

I request Xfinity to review my case and honor the original offers that were communicated at the time of the contract. Otherwise, I am considering canceling my order.

Looking forward to your prompt response.

Greetings @user_bhd117, thank you for detailing your recent experience. We aim to provide proper expectations through all of our customer experiences, and I can make sure that your orders are properly reviewed. Please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
