Xfinity Mobile without SSN

I have been trying to get 2 mobile lines for me and my wife from Xfinity but can't complete order process because I don't have a SSN. I am Korean and a student of MIT Sloan Business school. I already have an account with Xfinity internet. Please inform me alternate verification method such as providing a copy of  Passport via e-mail.

Hey there, thank you so much for reaching out to us and I do apologize for the delay in response. At this time, we do not have a way around the Social Security number for the Xfinity Mobile services. We will certainly share the feedback with our teams directly as possibility of having that as an option in the future.

@XfinityAdrienne

You should accept ITIN NUMBER as T-Mobile or Verizon

@XfinityAdrienne Why doesn't this conform with your acceptable ID policy here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/acceptable-forms-of-id?

What if I don't want to provide my SSN?
The SSN is not mandatory. In order to discuss the billing or account information, or to make any changes to the Comcast account, you can provide the last four digits of the previous payment method (credit card or checking account) or your 16-digit account number.

Why do customers have to provide identification to order products?
When an address is already serviced by Comcast, identification is required to verify that only the actual customer is able to order products for that address.

I already have an active Xfinity internet account and don't want to provide my SSN to sign up for mobile.

Hi @wantMobileWithoutSSN [Edited username to remove PII] , XFINITY Mobile has different requirements for service than our traditional Internet, Voice, Video, and Security Services. I would recommend reaching out to Mobile support to inquire more!

I no longer work for Comcast.
