Xfinity Mobile does not currently support Caller Id Name, it only supports Caller Id (Phone Number). Therefore: 1.) When you receive a call on your phone it only receives the phone number, however if the phone number is in your contacts it should show the name associated with the number stored on your phone's contact list. 2.) When you make a call, XM only sends your phone number, not your name. If the carrier receiving the call maintains a caller Id name database it may send a previous user's name. XM cannot fix this.
Rick441 - Thanks for this new information. I silence all unknown callers, but when I check my call log I have never seen a name. All I see is usually a phone number and usually a location, or UNKNOWN name or unknown location. Let us know if you find any new info. Below is the latest info from XM.

As of two days ago this is no longer true, at least on my Xfinity Mobile iPhone 6s. It is showing a name, and doing so for *every* call. If it isn't a contact, the name is followed by a city. The same is true for my Recent Calls list. For some of the calls the "name" given is "WIRELESS CALLER" or "UNKNOWN NAME."
This new behavior, which is UN-desired for multiple reasons, started two days ago. I have a strong feeling that it is due to incorrect implementation of the new call filtering that Xfinity Mobile texted me about yesterday. The text said, "Suspicious calls will be marked as 'Potential Spam' on your call screens." I haven't seen "Potential Spam" on any calls yet, but I am seeing the aforementioned *names* on what are clearly spam calls (primarily spoofed-number)-- eight so far.

Just letting you know that a chat rep, working with Tier 2, reverted my phone back to the previous behavior. Very happy about that. So I am back to having phone numbers displayed instead of things like "WIRELESS CALLER," or unfamiliar names, when a non-contact calls. They say I will still get notification when a call is deemed Potential Spam, although -- at least thus far, the system is only flagging a small portion of the spoofed calls I get.

If it is displaying the wrong phone number (caller id) you need to call XM support and they will fix it.
