Stream video stops audio continues ipad

While watching a recording on the Xfinity Streaming app on my iPad the video will freeze and the audio continues if I try to fast forward. It doesn’t matter if I restart, it will play to a certain point and then continue with audio, no video. I’ve restarted the iPad, disconnected Xfinity app and started with the same results- no video.


Recordings work fine on my TV and don't freeze if I fast forward. The Xfinity wifi that I'm connected to on my iPad seems to work ok  and I have had no issues with streaming from other platforms like Netflix, Prime or Apple TV.​

I have  iPad Air 10 running 16.3

I see lots of separate threads about this issue but haven’t read a solution and I’m not allowed to ask Xfinity support a direct question unless I post publicly so here we are.

Thanks for reaching out @user_06fbe7! What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Also, what version iPad are you using?

if Xfinity has specific “troubleshooting “ steps please list those.

I have the same issue. It used to happen all the time, then stopped for a time. Now it’s happening again. I don’t watch Bravo shows, it happens in others. I’ve tried all troubleshooting tips…uninstalled app, reinstalled app, etc. if it freezes on my iPad, I can’t watch it on my iPhone either. Seems to me this is an dignity problem. I’m so ready to cut the cord. The only reason I even keep paying for cable is to access shows on my dvr the same day they air.
