why can I not add additional eSims on my iPhone 16 Pro?

user_fakwz3 Xfinity currently supports only one mobile service per device, even if your iPhone 16 Pro has dual SIM capabilities. This means you can use one eSIM for Xfinity Mobile, so you won't be able to add another eSIM from Xfinity. However, you can add a second eSIM from another carrier if your phone is unlocked.

I was told that I had to go two billing cycles before I could add an eSIM.

Once your bill is completely paid off they will unlock your phone automatically as soon as the billing cycle is over... don't expect your phone to be unlocked the day after you pay your bill. I paid a phone off and wanted it unlocked but had to wait two weeks until the billing cycle was over.
