Scammed by Xfinity
Back in January of 2023, we traded my wife's phone in and did this promotion to get a Samsung A53 for free by porting in our number. The credit of $18.74 showed up on the first two bills and then they deactivated it. Charging me an extra $18.74/month for the phone. Then they added a third line to my account that I didn't authorize and charged me an extra $30/month for that. When I called about it they told me it's not possible for me to get my money back and that they can't add the promotion back onto the account because I've reached the maximum credit limit. Now scamming me out of over $450 for the phone as well as $220 for the new line that I never authorized and was never activated. They said the only option is for me to keep paying them for the phone again, that was supposed to be free and was the ONLY reason we traded in her phone for it. Absolute garbage business. Do NOT do business with them. I will be reporting them to the FCC and the FTC for their fraudulent transactions.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day and want to ensure you’re able to get in touch with an Xfinity Mobile expert to help get this resolved. Due to account security, our options with Xfinity Mobile accounts are very limited. We're unable to perform any device or account-specific requests over this platform. I'd recommend calling or texting 1 (888) 936-4968, or reaching out to our secure online chat at xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/?channel=xMobile where an Xfinity Mobile expert is available 24/7.
