SCAM Xfinity Free Mobile is a SCAM

Considering filing with Small Claims Court

On December 1, 2025, I was charged for canceling a Free Mobile line.  I spent 2 hours (chat and Phone) trying to resolve this charge.  Xfinity said the line was free as long as I had internet service.  When I canceled the I was charged a prorated fee for the service for that month.  How is there a fee for a service that is free.   I was told to read the agreement but nowhere in the agreement it says there is a free for canceling a free service.  If I do not receive full reimbursement I will file suit.

Hi there, @user_2a3du6! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. We would be more than happy to check into the fees that were applied when you cancelled. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.

You have to keep the service to receive that Promotion. It does explain that in the agreement. It will cost you more to try to sue and lose.
