Mobile Phone Scam
Where can I find an email or address to file a formal complaint. I transferred three of my mobile accounts to xfinity and I also added an additional line. I was told if I purchased a google number and ported it in that the phone would be free. Now I'm being told that I cannot do that and I cannot return the phone and I must pay $800 for a phone that the store representative said would be free. I was completely scammed so who can I write to file a complaint.

I'm so sorry to hear about this, @delitta_d, but appreciate you reaching out on the forums! We do not have full access to Xfinity Mobile (XM) accounts, but this definitely needs to be taken care of. I hate to think that one of our store reps knowingly misled you. The XM team can be contacted on their dedicated chat, via the following link:
https://comca.st/3Ugg4gH. You can also contact them via text message or phone call at 1-888-936-4968. Is there anything else we can assist you with?

I called back the same day and got another representative that was helpful. I filed a complaint case and I'm waiting to hear back. Thank you so much for following up. I will utilize the contact information you provided to me if I don't get a resolution.

I have the same problem. It's fraud. They refunded me for the payments they charged me. I'm in the program that pays $10 for my monthly 1 GB of data so I don't have an account it should go in my BANK ACCOUNT. Well they credited the xfinity mobile account not my bank account. They used the refund to pay the device for 2 months and have charged me for another month. I was sent a letter from xfinity mobile saying my credit was not approved to purchase a phone and I got a letter from the credit bureau saying xfinity mobile ran a hard credit check without permission and it would be corrected. I can't get in touch with anyone and customer service haven't been able to correct. What can fix this?

I seem to be stuck with the same scam. I purchased a phone via a chat rep and was offered a $500 discount to port a phone number. The porting from a google voice number took weeks and when I finally was able to finish the porting, the are now saying the promotion was forfeit without any explanation. This is fraud if they do not honor the promotion as advertised. I have spent hours on the phone with different agents and keep getting bounced around with no resolution.

I have my own phone, never used their service for one day, after they apologized on the phone, promising a refund, they turned around and sent an email asking for $200 more. this is the most dirty scam I have seen, and I am working with the attorney general to crack them down.

I entered the ACP program for wifi and cell service. I was told that my phone was free. I started being charged every month for a device payment. I received a letter from xfinity that my credit wasn't good enough for purchase the phone. The credit report company that the check by xfinity was done ilegally by Xfinity 🙃. What more factual than that but I'm still being charged.
