iPhone 14 Shipping Times

Hello, I saw a shipping thread created for the iPhone 13 so I'm creating this one! Let's update each other on the shipping processes for the phones. I ordered the 14 pro max in space black 128gb and my date is scheduled for September 30th but I already lost the cancel button and received a trade in email and the phone shows up on my account now. Is anyone else seeing this?

I’m so tired of this experience, it’s annoying, just got off a chat and the agent said to check the website for when the phones are showing available and the pre-order shipping dates change based on availability , this is crazy, really considering leaving xfinity, if that’s the case then why even offer a preorder ?

The Xfinity Support site literally says that all pre-orders will ship on the launch date, not be received. My order confirmation says nothing about the phone being received by tomorrow...just that the pre-order availability is 9/16...Why are people freaking out? You pre-ordered to make sure you would get one because look how quick inventory sold out. Freaking out because you might have to wait a few days for it to ship seems very child like. Blowing up Xfinity's reps acting like impatient children is also child like. IT SAYS ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY WILL SHIP TOMORROW!!!! If you get it delivered tomorrow, that's an extra bonus.

@Rkmuhammad5457​ unfortunately, misinformation gets around. "If you pre-ordered a device before the launch date, your order will ship on the day your device launches. If your device is back-ordered, we'll ship it to you as soon as it becomes available. You'll get a shipping-confirmation email when your order is on its way." This is directly from their website. It was available BEFORE anybody placed an order. So if you still ordered, you agreed to these terms. So nobody should expect to actually get their device tomorrow.

Woohoo!! finally seeing label created in FedEx with delivery date of 17th (Saturday). Hopefully will get that on Saturday.

Xfinity chat gave the update I dreaded....

"Review is complete and order fulfillment can proceed.

As I can see you have placed pre order for Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max , 512 GB Space Black, Estimated delivery date: Oct 07, 2022"

3 weeks late is the best an immediate preorder can get you haha.

I believe it is a major mess up and they are flooded with calls. Now they have an automated message on - "If you are calling regarding the delivery of your new Iphone 14, it is delayed by few days due to delay from manufacturer. We will send you an email once it ships........." So it is all apple's fault, makes perfect sense :):):)

I received an email confirming my shipment, including a FEDEX tracking number.  They are shipping it priority overnight with Saturday delivery even though they only committed to 2 business day delivery.  So, I expect to receive it on Saturday.

@user_1eb1c8​ Honestly I’ll wouldn’t even fight with going to the store.  They will not have them.  And if they do, the employees will have gotten them first or  they are for the customers who have requested to pick up their order ls from the store….. I have dealt with that for the past 4 years which is why I decided to pay my phone in full this time and pre-order it….Thinking this is the best route to go!!!

I don't understand my order I don't have the cancel button, my trade in started and expires on october 1st, and the phone shows up on my account but im scheduled for sept 30th. Were they supposed to charge me this early and why do i have 2 days to send my old phone back?

Apparently I got my tracking a few hours ago. Says Saturday delivery!

FWIW, I pre-ordered literally 12 minutes after launch. Also stopped at the Xfinity Store this morning, just to ask about my order, and inquire if they would have stock in-store. They were super nice despite not having much info for me on my order, but were happy to show me what they could see - I definitely had an order placed and they mentioned the 14 Pro was one of the more popular models that might be back ordered. They also mentioned, stores will not carry the new phones and orders will have to placed online.

Regardless, I hope everyone gets their phones soon.

I ordered My 14 pro max Space Black 256gb it showed in the confirmation Email that it would ship 2022-09-16T06:12:11-0500...So Today.I have not received a shipping email or any updates.... I will keep you all posted. I also Pre ordered the Apple Watch Ultra and The ship date was 2022-10-21T06:12:11-0500 ...The order still shows in my devices section but they sent me my money back for the watch? when I called nobody had an explanation and said its still on the way?I can only think of it being charged again when it ships? But actually it would be nice to have a little more information about my orders and status.

@Waiting4.14promax​  my situation was identical to yours , I can reassure you that you’re gonna get information soon. They sent my money back for my pro max but as of last night I received shipping information via FedEx and XM confirmation email. The sale rep told me the same thing she also told me that once it officially ships they will charge your card. Just be patient.

I called customer service after being transferred 3 times , They finally got me to someone who upon checking told me that there was an "Unexpected Demand " and that is causing delays. She proceeded to tell me that my phone will be to me by the 19th without fail. This all seems like a huge opportunity to do better. Emails letting people know about delays after sending confirmation emails with delivery dates , seems obvious. But choosing to leave all customers in the dark , Not knowing anything of delays, Backorders , ETC. You should only be able to pre order if you have a IMEI number to reserve for that person. But taking an order giving false hope of getting the phone on release day ... I would of taken the time to find the phone at a store. I did not do that because I was told I have a the phone confirmed. This honestly is misleading. Seeing the number of problems they are having with the current process...and seeing the 13 release was the same??? Xfinity simply must do better.

Just as another data point (for 256gb iPhone 14 Pro, Deep Purple).  End result is delivery is set for Saturday morning (9/17).

9:15 CT on Friday 9/9 -- order placed and received email order was placed.

9:20 CT on Friday 9/9 -- order 'confirmed' via email.

10:05 CT on Friday 9/9 -- email saying Xfinity needed additional verification.

~3pm CT on Friday 9/9 -- I completed the verification (I never received any sort of confirmation verification was complete or adequate).

~12CT on Wednesday 9/14 -- I see in Fedex the 'master' tracker that others have flagged.

~ 6CT on Wednesday 9/14 -- the 'cancel' order option in the xfinity App disappeared.

11:47pm CT on Thursday 9/15 -- receive tracking information for fedex showing overnight shipping on 9/16 with delivery before noon on 9/17.

Of course I'd prefer to have it on 9/16, but can't complain too much with Xfinity.  There are reports that Apple has delayed shipments to distributers, and the fact that Xfinity is paying for overnight, weekend delivery through fedex (which aint cheap) supports that view.

I was going to cancel my order, but THEY WOULD NOT LET ME!!!
How can you not cancel a pending order? This is ridiculous!

I just got off a call with xfinity as well as a chat and they BOTH told me the SAME thing... so they are either reading from a script OR telling the truth... WHO KNOWS!

XFINITY: As i can see that the option to cancel the services is not available now as the device will be delivered tomorrow
ME: How is that possible? It still shows in my account that it is pending
XFINITY: Some deliveries of pre-ordered Apple iPhone 14 devices may be delayed for delivery on Sept. 17 or 19, instead of delivery tomorrow, Sept. 16. there is some issue with the device supply and due to overwhelming response by the customers the device is getting delay by the Apple
ME: If you can't give me a tracking number, I want to cancel the order
XFINITY: The cancel order is not available at this time As the device review is passed. Apple guaranteed phone to us today. Since yours pre-ordered you should get updated on your account soon. And the device is doing to delivered now soon
ME: I would like to talk to someone else
XFINITY: You can try to call our dedicated order verification team to try to cancel the order 1-844-963-0011 Order Verfication

This is when I called and spoke with someone... they have me the EXACT info.
The women on the phone said it would be shipping today and that I would have my phone in a few days! I, of course, do not believe that! So I asked her, "can you 100% guarantee/promise that it will ship today and my account will be updated to reflect that the phone is on it's way to me?" Her response... "well ma'am, those are strong words, but I can guarantee you that you will have your phone next week or the week after." I mean, how do you straight up lie to people.

Good thing is I have an 11PM that works totally fine, but I'm frustrated at the lack of communication! A simple email or update on the delivery times would be greatly appreciated! I know it's a supply issue and out of their control, but a little communication goes a long way! My hubs and I have two small businesses and we know what customer service is like! We deal things everyday! But, you should always reach out to the customer BEFORE they reach out to you! Okay, rant over!

@subrina1025​ the fact that you can’t cancel your order is a good sign. It means your phone is coming. I got my shipping email late last night for delivery on Saturday. I ordered my phone on Sep 12th. Late to the party but still arriving on time. I would wait and see if you get an email today. The rep on my chat told me sep 30th and that was not the case.

@subrina1025​ Its literally 10:23 am where I am at. They had very clearly on their website that pre-orders would not ship until today. It was on there BEFORE YOU ORDERED. ITS NOT EVEN NOON. You're harassing them and wanting to cancel your order [Edited: "Inflammatory"] even though their website CLEARLY states that they wouldn't ship until today. That's clear communication....so until today passes and they don't ship...they have NOTHING to update you on....[Edited: "Inflammatory"]...and we don't like that....be nice...

@ANTIKAREN​ I am NOT being a Karen. I simply wanted to CANCEL my order and they would not let me. I'm not upset about not getting my phone today. I'm upset they 

1) would NOT let me cancel a pending order

2) have not been clearly communicating with me. example... talked to two people (one chat and the other on a call) back to back and they both has contraindicating info within the conversation. 

The bottom line is, if I can't cancel a pending order, then that is wrong. For them to tell me it's shipping today (which was their excuse for not being able to cancel my order), but they can ONLY guarantee I will have the phone next week or the week after for sure is wrong. I simply called to cancel my order... not to argue with them about not having my phone today or that is hasn't shipped yet. I'm upset that they won't let me CANCEL an order because they are "most likely" getting it out today. 

If one of my customers want to cancel a PENDING order, I always allow them to cancel. If I have already started packing their order up, then that means the order is already complete and then I do not allow a cancelation since my items are personalized and can not be resold to another person. 

You need to back off a bit and re-read what I wrote. I DID NOT call/chat with them to get mad because my order hasn't shipped. I only mentioned that because that IS THE REASON they gave me for NOT CANCELING my order. I called TO CANCEL MY ORDER and that was it.

If you cannot cancel your order it means it is in process of being shipped with FedEx.  It's a good sign.  Have you tried logging into Fedex account with your address?  It seems that if you can't cancel your order, Fedex will reflect that a shipment is coming (without any details just listed as 'master') in your Fedex delivery manager page, meaning Xfinity has sent your shipping information to Fedex and is preparing shipment. 

There was about a day delay between me being unable to cancel and getting official shipping confirmation via email.  That timeline seems consistent with others in this thread (and the one on MacRumors).  I think it is likely you will receive official shipping confirmation today, but failing that you should try creating a Fedex account to see if a shipment is shown there, which would be a good sign as well.

@subrina1025​ Their website also clearly says you can cancel an order for 30 minutes after its been placed. Other than that, you can refuse delivery or call your bank. As a business owner, do you not have rules? Or do you think you should be above them?

Fedex label created coming from Texas also. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I will keep everyone updated on the process.No Email from Xfinity yet.
