How can I get the correct answer from customer service? The experience today is very frustrating.
I am on call right now. After 35 minutes, the Xfubuty lady still can not help me with anything. The lady is called Patricia with badge number 53525.
I currently have Xfinity internet service only. Interested in switching lines to Xfinity, so I called today to get more information.
Before telling me anything, she asked me to type my SSN and DOB on my cellphone, although I explained twice that I don't have Xfinity mobile service yet. After putting me on hold again and again, it seems she figured it out, and we can start to talk about my inquiry.
Then the nightmare started! Everything she told me is incorrect! When I am viewing the webpage, which says each basic line is $10/month, she told me it is $15/month. When the webpage shows the Unlimited plan is $20/month, she told me it will be $45/month. After my correction, she told me again that the Unlimited plan is $40/month, and the Unlimited Premium is $30/month?!
Every time after I reminded her of the difference between the information I could see on the Xfinity webpage and the information she told me, she would ask "a minute" then get back with something more absurd. Now she is telling me the Unlimited is $50/month, while the webpage is showing $30/month.
I have requested twice that she go to find her manager or someone who knows better about the business. After 5-10 minutes waiting, she came back and told me there is no such guy available.
Now I'm waiting for the one millionth time. Every time I ask a question, the lady asks me to stay on the line and go search for the answer, which will take a couple of minutes or longer.
Finally, after confirming all the information she told me, I asked her to generate the contract and send it to me, and then she started to make drama again. Shen went to generate the contract, then came back to eat her words. Now she told me the original information she confirmed early is wrong. There is no discounted cellphone with the Unlimited Premium Plan, but to pay the full price. The cellphone discount will be available only with the cellphone trade-in. She bundled the discount and trade-in together, which made me truly mad.
The 4th or 5th time, she told me the manager is dealing with the high-volume calls and is not available to talk to me. The call has lasted about 2 hours, and I got no valid information from this lady. It is the worst experience I have ever had in my life!
