Domestic violence victims
What do you announce someone's address when calling 1800 xfinity. Thanks, my abuser found me cause you also will not let me out of the phone plans he's attached to.
????? Can you explain how this is following Michigans DV laws or safety net???

@user_pq84vy We greatly appreciate you bringing this up as your safety is very important to us. I cannot imagine how stressful this was for you, and we want to do all we can to help avoid this. We have this announcement to help confirm what account you are calling in about. However, we know that there are time when you need to keep this information secure. We do take part in a program that allows you to use an alternate address or PO Box as your legal address so that the one you reside at can remain confidential. When under this program, your home address would not be disclosed, and it is also hidden from our systems when reaching out for support as an extra layer of safety. We want to ensure you can get connected with someone right away to have that updated for your Xfinity Mobile and/or Residential services. Please give 1-844-963-0073 a call to speak with a team of experts that can aid in setting you up with an alternate address so something like this does not happen again.

hello user_pq,
that sounds like an incredibly awful experience that you had to/are having to go through-i am sorry that you are in that situation.
i came here looking for what xfinity is doing to help and to protect victims of domestic violence because this sort of thing has happened to her (abuser being in charge of her old plan). i can clearly see that basically, xfinity is doing nothing, and the answer i read below from xfinity is useless. but i want to thank you for asking your question because by YOU sharing your experience, i now know that xfinity basically doesn’t have a plan or seem to care. i hope that you and your family are safe.
