Device promotion reprieve for military relocation

We signed up for Xfinity mobile last fall along with Xfinity cable internet. We agreed to a sign up promotion offering a free device as long as we remained with Xfinity mobile for 24 months. However, the military is relocating us to South Korea where neither Xfinity mobile nor Xfinity cable internet provide service.

Now we either have to pay off the remaining $240+ device balance or suspend mobile service but pay $25 a month for 14 months since we no longer have Xfinity cable internet. I've offered to return the phone but Xfinity mobile says they cannot accept it.

Is it possible to have a military exception to waive the remaining balance or the $25 a month fee for not having Xfinity cable internet with a suspended mobile account? The only reason why we are discontinuing Xfinity service is because neither mobile nor home internet service is provided where the military is relocating us to? Please help.
