Comcast's UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Xfinity's service, which has led to my decision to discontinue all business with your company. As a long-time, loyal customer, I am appalled by the recent treatment I've received.
I recently moved from Massachusetts, where I had both Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Mobile, to Maine. Upon attempting to transfer my services, I discovered that Xfinity Internet is not available at my new address. Consequently, I was informed that my Xfinity Mobile bill would increase by over 100%, or $25 a month, simply because your internet service is unavailable in my new location.
Last week, an Xfinity Mobile representative assured me this fee would be waived, and that I would not be charged moving forward. Today, I received an email contradicting this assurance, stating I will be charged the fee. When I called to address this, the representative I spoke with today accused me of lying about my previous conversation, solely because I couldn't recall the name of the representative who waived the fee. This accusation is baseless and insulting, especially given that I provided the exact date and duration of the call from my call log.
This situation is completely unacceptable. The lack of accountability, the false promises, and the accusations of dishonesty have made it impossible for me to continue as a customer. I am deeply disappointed and have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

Hey @Specialcases , Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the service with Xfinity mobile. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you. Xfinity mobile does charge a $25.00 a month fee when Xfinity residential services are not maintained. This information is provided to customers when Xfinity mobile service is started. I understand your frustration in the information you have received, this fee is not eligible to be waived. We appreciate the feedback you have provided on your experience will be happy to pass it up.
