Can't send or receive MMS messages on new Samsung A13 5g phones

Purchased 2 new Samsung A13 5g phones 2 days ago and ported over numbers from Verizon.  We can send and receive SMS text messages but cannot send or receive group texts or pictures (MMS).  Have been on calls with tech support for hours but they seem stumped.  I see several threads about this but they are all at least a year old.  Is this a current issue for anyone else?  Any solutions?
