Cannot connect to any xfinity hotspots on my iPad

I am trying to connect my iPad to hotspots when mobile, as it does not have cell service. So far, I am unable to get it to connect to any xfinity hotspot. I have tried both networks, the xfinitywifi (unsecured) and XFINITY (secured) networks, neither will work.

When I try to connect to xfinitywifi, it says that it is connected, however after a brief period it gives the "no internet connection" warning, and the only page that will load is xfinity.com. The xfinitywifi network, however, works flawlessly on my iPhone and connects automatically with ease.

I can login to the XFINITY network using my username and password, I am prompted to trust the security certificate, the device connects to the network, it appears to be connected, but then when I try and browse or load anything, it will not connect. Again, the only page that will load for me at this point is xfinity.com. This same issue persists on my iPhone as well (contrary to with the xfinitywifi network).

I have been through every troubleshooting step I could find in these forums, I've downloaded and redownloaded every xfinity app, trusted and retrusted every security certificate, I'm logged into my xfinity account on every device... I have no idea why I cannot connect to these networks on my iPad.

@jrgomatos. Thanks for the details and trying the steps to resolve it. We can put in a ticket to start the process and that requires some information. What iPad model do you have? You used the Xfinity Wifi Hotspots app, correct?

@XfinityEthan My iPad is the 1st generation iPad Pro. I have tried using the xfinity wifi hotspots app, yes.

To send a "Peer to peer" message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
