caller id

Have been dealing with xfinity Mobile support.  Total frustration.  I have an iphone 13 pro.  I went to find caller id toggle on or off in setting>phone>calls.  Nothing showed up.  The agent said that Apple removed caller id on their phones, and that while names appear when receiving a call (if in my contacts), I no longer have the ability to show my name on the other end of the call.  All my calls to other cell phones will show me as a "wireless number".  People will sometimes not answer my call if it does not show my name because of spam.  My iphone does show the number or name on incoming calls.  So,  I am not sure if it is xfinity or Apple who is the genesis of this issue.  I had at least a half dozen support calls, all with differing solutions.  xfinity agent said she confirmed that caller id issue rests with Apple, and not xfinity.  I have my doubts.

Thank you for reaching out to us here today @user_996f46. I was able to find the features that are offered with the Xfinity mobile service at https://comca.st/3OdDW1Z which does show caller ID as a feature.

I just switched from Verizon to Xfinity mobile with my iphone 13 pro, and I can see that XM does not offer incoming caller ID NAMES, but will show the phone number.  Without the name this is is barely caller ID and I think XM must be too small or not technical enough to offer normal caller ID with names.  They should be more transparent with this instead of twisting words claiming they offer caller ID as what they offer is far less than people's expectations.  It's equally absurd that someone from XM suggested that it was the phone unable to accept a name. I lost this feature the second my carrier changed to Xfinity Mobile.  XM is cheaper than Verizon and it offers less features too, so you get what you pay for.
