Xfinity Rewards $1 movie rental night

I just signed up for Xfinity Rewards $1 movie rental with an expiration date of 9/1/2021.  Is this reward for just one rental or for all rentals before the expiration date?  I asked the question of a Xfinity chat agent Errol and he said it can be used multiple times until the expiration date - but I've been burned by the chat agents before.  Just want some confirmation.  Appreciate any intel on this reward.  Thanks.

Do we have the list of movies to see before opting for this offer ? Is "The Meg" part of it?

@XfinityHeather

How is the "reward" used with On Demand? I just signed up, and I'm finding the directions confusing. I'll get the "reward" on my computer, but I will use the reward with On Demand via my X1 Box. How is the $1.00 applied? Also, what are the fees and taxes?

Yes, I'd like to know also. I was told via text that I could use this reward multiple times until the expiration date also. Is that true.

I spoke to Xfinity agent last night and had to look up everything. It took so long I had to end it.

We are all confused about how to use our one dollar movie night. Every time someone asks it directs us to a link where we have to JOIN REWARDS!!  WE ARE ALREADY MEMBERS THATS WHY WE HAVE A 99CENT MOVIE WITH AN EXPIRTAION DATE!  why is this so hard???? Doesn't Comcast want us to use the rewards???

@song17 Good Evening! Thank you for reaching out for assistance, and bringing this to our attention. I will be sure to pass along the feedback, as we are always look for ways to streamline our processes to make it easier for our customers to enjoy their services. I am happy to answer any question or concerns you have regarding your rewards program and redemption this evening.

How the movie redemption works is, once you have redeemed your reward, you can chose a movie rental up to $5.99 or less. This will all be adjusted on your bill, so you will see the reward redeemed, the movie rental, and the adjusted amount. Please let me know if there any any follow up questions I may answer for you.

To join or view rewards, you can do so via the Xfinity app or by visiting https://comca.st/3GzUtbR and enrolling there.
Viewing and redeeming your rewards are easy! Simply visit the Xfinity app or  https://comca.st/3utYk7J and sign into your Xfinity account. You can then view and redeem eligible rewards, view your redemption history, and more.

I was wondering the same as everyone else with the movie rental for $1.  I couldn't find out how to tell if or when it gets applied to the movie.  And I didn't want to hit the purchase button until I knew I wasn't paying $5.99..But anyhow, I did hit the purchase rental button on Vernom:Let there be Carnage for $5.99 and then received a text message on my phone for a purchase of $5.99!! BUT ALAS,..As I was getting pretty upset I then received another text..you have had a $4.99 credit applied to your account..so there it is..You have to take that leap of faith once you know you redeemed the reward and watch the follow up..hope that helps!

@Absinthe1277 So, they'll instantly take $5:99, but will put $4:99 as a credit on your bill ... sounds a bit [Edited: "Language"], if you ask me :/

@Manc_Yank It is a bit [...]. $1 is $1. That's what should be on our bills.
