Un-pair remote

I need instructions on how to un-pair my old comcast remote. I do not know the model number so how do I find that out.

Find your remote on https://www.xfinity.com/support/remotes and select it. There should be instructions for it there under "Factory reset your Xfinity remote". If you can't find them, post back with the remote model.
