problem with closed captioning
I rented the movie "Joker" only to quickly discover it had no closed captioning. As a Comcast customer for 22 years who needs closed captioning, I can tell you that this is extremely rare. I've rented dozens of movies over the years all with cc. I called an agent who gave me a refund credit, but they could not explain why it was not cc capable. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the same way. It is impossible to believe brand new movies are not cc capable. Somebody at Comcast messed up when they ordered these. I can think of only one other time I ordered a movie from On Demand that did not have cc and that was 10 years ago.

When you click on the movie "icon", which gives info like running time, rotten tomatoes rating, etc. I look for the CC symbol. Most of these newer movies don't have the CC icon and I just accidentally rented Joker without noticing that. But as I look over most of the newer movies On Demand, they don't have the CC icon.
I have yet to rent a film that DOES have CC and not actually have it. Onr thing i learned while watching "normal" non-On Demand movies and programs, sometimes the closed captioning stops, and when I switch to another channel for a few seconds and then switch back to the show I watching, the CC is back on again.
In 22 years as a Comcast customer, I have depended on CC. They just aren't offering as much CC on On Demand lately.
