closed captions

I rented evil dead burn and couldn't get the closed captions to appear. 8 did all the basic stuff for fixing that like restarting my router and checking my settings and none of it worked. so then I rented lockbox, and the same thing happened and they closed captioning is working on regular shows and regular TV. I'm kind of mad and I want to refund and I've noticed that this has been an ongoing issue in the past which makes me even more mad and aggravated thankfully I'm not hard of hearing but someone that lives in my house is and that's just not acceptable.
