Charging On-Demand to 3rd Party
Can On-Demand be set so that the user has to pay for it, as opposed to my account being automatically charged? I'm renting out my condo, and I don't want the renter to run up a high tab!

A PIN prevents those who don't know it from making a purchase. Since a cable box doesn't "know" who is controlling it, I see no way to do what you want.

You can set up a Purchase Pin on each of your cable boxes/DVRs and in the Stream app and web portal. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/parental-controls-non-x1 and/or https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-parental-controls-turn-puchase-protection-on-off and/or https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-manage-tv-settings-online.

Thanks for the quick reply, Bruce! If I understand these articles correctly, this is about setting a PIN so a user CAN'T make a purchase without it....but I want to let the user make purchase, but to pay for it themselves. Will this accomplish that?

Thanks again. I was hoping there was a way to make each purchase with a credit card vs. automatically charging the account. Guess I could have them make purchases through a streaming stick instead of through my Comcast account. Appreciate your help!
