AcornTV OnDemand series not entirely there.

We've watched Seasons 1 and 2 of "Total Control" on AcornTV OnDemand, which we subscribe to.  Season 3 is listed with Seasons 1 and 2, but not as appearing on AcornTV -- it's listed as appearing on AMC+, which we don't subscribe to and don't want.  Who can we contact to find out if and/or when Season 3 will be on AcornTV with the rest of the series?  We've seen this happen before with other series, but it's never taken as long as this one has to switch over to AcornTV.

Hello again @Harry3667, we hope you're doing well! Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave another post on our community forum. I can totally understand being frustrated when you're not able to see the other seasons in your series because they're on a different platform. You would have to reach out to the channel itself for answers to that question. So you would need to reach out to AcornTV to know when the third season will be available as we don't control the content the other providers are allowing our customers to use.

That's what I wasn't sure of -- whether to contact AcornTV or ACM+ with this.  I'll try AcornTV.

Thank you again for your recent help with the issue we had.  Everything as you set it up turned out great, and thank you for your help.  It made all the difference.

Here is Acorn's reply (italics mine):

Acorn TV is available for Comcast Xfinity members as an add-on subscription, accessed through the Xfinity app store. The billing for this service is independent of Acorn TV and handled through Comcast. All of the shows are the same, but please note that the add-on subscription does not sync with the Acorn TV website or standalone apps. This means you will not be able to log in to or sync your watchlist on Acorn TV website or the standalone apps we are available on.
For direct communication regarding streaming quality or access to your Xfinity video add on content for Acorn TV, please visit Xfinity at https://www.xfinity.com. You can also reach Xfinity by phone at 1-800-Comcast.
So, you send me to them, and they send me back to you.

Hey there Harry3667 thank you for the feedback on this.  Acorn TV is owned by AMC, so where they are choosing to release this content is their decision. These seasons may come to Acorn TV at a later time, but we cannot directly control or provide information on when this will happen. We do offer AMC+ and this can be added on if you'd like to do so.

Thank you for the additional information, XfinAlfonso.  Acorn didn't tell me of their connection to AMC.  And for one Xfin person to tell me to contact Acorn, then have Acorn send me back to Xfin is irritating.  We already subscribe to Acorn OnDemand and watch it almost daily.  We have no desire to add AMC+ to our account, so no thank you.  It just seems silly to run the first two seasons on one channel, then the third on another.  We hope it'll eventually show up on Acorn OnDemand.

I do understand those frustrations, and that is never intentional. With the proliferation of streaming services, a lot of content segmentation like this is becoming more common. My wife loves Dancing with the Stars, and we had to finally pony up and get Disney+ when that became the platform it would air on without commercials.
