Why isn't Madame Blanc Mysteries Christmas Special Part 2 available on Acorn TV app or On Demand?

Sorry to hear the program you were looking for wasn't available, user_u4qtfp! I apologize, but as Acorn TV is a 3rd party service, we're unfortunately unable to provide an explanation as to why they did not have it available.

It is available on the regular Acorn subscription service.  Why wouldn't they send it to Comcast for their Acorn subscribers?

Good evening @user_p8lixt! Content availability within the third-party applications on our cable boxes and our OnDemand content is provided by the networks that own the rights to those programs. It would appear they have not added it to our On-Demand library or the Xfinity cable box Acorn App.

I'm sorry.  I didn't realize I was sending a DM.  Thank you for  your response.  I understand what you are saying about receiving content from Acorn.  But, can't you ask them about specific programs?  It seems like a mistake that they sent Part I of the Madame Blanc Christmas special but not Part II.

I have the same question in the sense that we subscribe to Acorn TV through XFINITY.  I know Acorn TV released part 2 of The Madame Blanc Mysteries Christmas 2025 special before the end of 2025.  Over the past few years we have successfully watched all episodes of Series 1 to 4 and part 1 of the Christmas 2025 special.  Acorn TV lists the 2 episodes as "Series 5" on their website and in their app.   I really do not want to pay Amazon Prime $2.99 to watch an HD version of that second episode.    We had a similar issue with an episode of The Restaurant on Acorn TV in 2024; that was resolved in a way that allowed us to avoid the charge.
