user_183xd1 Thank you for stopping in for help with the errors you are getting when using the app. You mentioned Video with the errors you are getting. Is this the Xfinity Stream app you are having issues with?

The Xfinity App is a horrible app designed to fail, forcing people to rent a set top cable box and remote for more money.  I am surprised that a top notch tech company like Comcast released such a bad app. I have stopped into two Xfinity stores and employees at both said it is a severely flawed app. I keep getting error messages, or it freezes, or I lose video but still have audio. Tech had told me it is not the app but my Apple TV, yet every other app on the Apple TV works flawlessly.

Hey there, @user_rju358, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding the Xfinity App. I can definitely understand why you're frustrated. The error messages shown (TVAPP-00244 and TVAPP-00249) indicate playback issues within the Xfinity Stream app. Since other Apple TV apps are working normally, can you let us know if these errors occur on all channels/content or only specific ones? Also, have you confirmed that both the Apple TV software and the Xfinity Stream app are fully up-to-date? That will help narrow down the cause.
