voicemail notifications late
For the last month or more I've been having issues with my voicemail. Specifically, I'm not being told when I have a voicemail.
It started with a delay of several hours. I would get a call asking why I didn't call back as requested. They had left a message, which I didn't not receive until up to 8 hours later. Not just no notification, but my voicemail said nothing there.
Then it got worse. I would get a message on Tuesday and not get the notification until Thurs. Lately, I got a call Thurs morning, and got the notification on Sunday. That's over 3 days.
Then, this morning, I got a notification of a voicemail, but my call log said I hadn't missed a call.
I have restarted the phone. No change. I emptied the phone cache. No change. What is goinge on here?
I have a Pixel6 pro, fully updated. And I'm not updating my phone for this.

Where am I supposed to find the "Direct Message" icon? I have checked the web and app, and don't see anything. Doing a search says to use Twitter. I don't use that
