Request for Technical Escalation – Recurring Xfinity Mobile Network Registration Failure

Request for Technical Escalation – Recurring Xfinity Mobile Network Registration Failure

I am requesting escalation of an ongoing Xfinity Mobile service problem to a technical team capable of investigating the issue at the network/account level.

The problem began as intermittent loss of mobile service. My phone would show a cellular signal, often three or four bars and 4G/5G, but mobile data would stop working. At other times the phone would lose service and fail to reconnect to the Xfinity network, displaying “Not registered on network” or “Emergency calls only.”

I have spent many hours with Xfinity Mobile support attempting to resolve this. Troubleshooting has included:

  • Multiple network resets and restarts.
  • Multiple replacement eSIMs.
  • Two different physical SIM cards.
  • The line has been reprovisioned twice.
  • APN, network selection, mobile-data settings, and SIM settings have been checked repeatedly.
  • Wi-Fi Calling has also intermittently failed to register or activate.
  • At one point, enabling roaming temporarily restored service.
  • Xfinity troubleshooting eventually raised the possibility that my original phone was the problem.
  • I therefore replaced the phone with a new device.
  • The new phone initially worked after a network reset and has generally worked well since.
  • Today, after temporarily losing cellular coverage while working in a basement, the new phone failed to re-register when I returned to an area with coverage and displayed “Not registered on network.” Restarting the phone restored service.

The fact that the same network-registration failure has now occurred on two different phones, after multiple eSIMs, two physical SIMs, and two line reprovisions, strongly suggests that simply repeating device troubleshooting is not addressing the underlying problem.

The line currently shows as online in Xfinity's support system because restarting the phone restored service. However, this is an intermittent registration failure, so the fact that the line is online when checked does not mean the problem has been resolved.

I am requesting that Xfinity open a technical escalation/network ticket and investigate the underlying cause of the recurring failure of my line to register or re-register with the mobile network. I am not requesting another round of standard device troubleshooting or another reprovisioning of the line, as those steps have already been performed repeatedly without resolving the problem.

Please provide me with a ticket or case number and have the appropriate advanced mobile/network technical team investigate the issue.
