Receiving calls

I’ve experienced it on all calls since switching to unlimited plan. 

Hi @marsh-curt and thanks for clarifying that.  Some phones have a 'call screening' function that intercepts incoming silently asking the caller to state their reason for calling (on incoming calls) prior to actually presenting the call to you.  Is it possible you may have accidentally activated this feature on your phone? 

What's the brand and model of your phone, and what OS is it running?  

Additional details may help us track down the issue and allow us to provide more information to help resolve this. 

I Phone 17e. Version 26.5.2. Don’t know about the call screening feature. I never have had it in use with past I Phones.
