Problems accessing email from my iPhone 16 Pro Max

Can't access my Xfinity email account on my iPhone 16 Pro Max for last 4 days. Today I went to the Apple store, and they helped me delete then reinstall my account with a new password.  This worked for less than 2 hours. Now once again I'm getting the same messages on my iPhone that the Comcast app is currently unavailable. So I'm once again forced to get my email from my desktop. Had this email account for over 25 years and used it successfully with my iPhones for over 15 years.
