Number port stuck for 3 weeks after cancellation — no resolution, disconnected after 1hr hold

I cancelled my Xfinity Mobile service on June 16, 2026, and switched to another carrier the next day. Because my account was already cancelled, my number couldn't automatically port over.

I called Xfinity and was told my number would be held for 30 days, and that Xfinity would open a new account, move my number onto it, then release it for porting — a process that would take up to 7 days.

That was 3 weeks ago. I've called twice since to check status and was told it's "still being worked on" with no explanation. On my third call, I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone familiar with the porting process, waited on hold for about an hour, and was disconnected without resolution.

I'm concerned my number may be released or reassigned before this internal transfer is completed, despite being told it's within the 30-day hold window. Could someone from the team help confirm whether my number has actually been moved to an active account yet, and get this port completed?
