No Voicemail Notification on Xfinity Mobile

My phone is an Google Pixel 7 and I do not use Visual Voicemail. However, my phone has stopped receiving standard voicemail notifications from Xfinity Mobile.

Is there a recommended fix for this? As it appears the Xfinity Mobile Voicemail service is not sending the notifications to my phone.

@Tek Have you checked your phone settings to make sure nothing has changed?

@XfinityShawn I contacted support and they were unable to resolve anything after an hour of work. Nothing has changed on my phone.

I think the issue is that I do not use Visual Voicemail and it appears that Xfinity Mobile does not send notifications if you don't.  If I enable and test visual voicemail I do get notifications. Andorid only supports one Visual Voice Mail Box and I have to use Visual VM for my work voicemail.

Referencing back to an older post, but also on a Google phone, they stated something needs to be changed by support?

However, I mentioned this to support and they did not provide any insight. All they did is reset my VM Pin and verify my IMEI. All made no difference in the notifications.

@Tek I appreciate that information. That sounds like that's Xfinity Mobile's way with notifications, and visual voicemail. That sounds like that's an option that can't be changed.

Same problem, didn't even know until a friend said they couldn't leave a message because my voice message, option to even leave a message, and my two saved messages disappeared. There's no app and when I click voicemail icon from phone I only see it won't connect visual voice to sim card. duh. The agent had to "activate" my voicemail. (you'd think they would do this when you switch over). Seems the only way round this is to call voicemail via *86 anytime you get a call from a known number and wanna know if they left a message. Not a great fix. I use my phone for work and previously used visual voice during meetings to catch anything urgent. Visual voice is also not available any longer that I can find.

Hey @user_99qkxr. Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. If your mobile device supports Visual Voicemail, the feature should be available. What make and model phone do you currently use with Xfinity Mobile?
