Dropped Mobile Calls

I've been experiencing dropped calls for about a week. Usually the call will drop in the middle and subsequent calls drop after 1 minute. "Resetting All Network Settings" briefly fixes the issue but not permanently.


Is anyone else experiencing this? How do we fix it permanently???

FWIW, I've been on Xfinity Mobile for 7+months and this just started. Am I going to have to change providers??

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We know how frustrating dropped calls can be, especially when it keeps happening back to back like that.

 

Since resetting network settings helps, even if only temporarily, that usually points to something on the device or how it’s connecting to the network rather than a full service interruption.

 

A few things we’d recommend trying to help narrow this down:

  • Make sure your device software is fully up to date
  • Check if WiFi calling is turned on and try toggling it off to test
  • Remove and reinsert your SIM card, or reset your eSIM if that’s what you’re using
  • Try making a few calls in different locations to see if it’s happening everywhere or just certain areas

If the issue is happening consistently no matter where you are, we can take a closer look at the line and provisioning to make sure everything is set up correctly on the backend.

 

You shouldn’t have to switch providers over something like this, we’ll work through it with you and get things stable again.
