Cant receive pictures through text messages

It could be due to a poor or unstable data connection, as MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages require a strong connection to transfer large files like photos or videos.  Another possibility is that the MMS settings on your device may be configured incorrectly, preventing the messages from properly sending or downloading.  Have you been able to check the message settings on phone?  Also, you may want to check to see if your phone is connected to a WiFi network.  I know that in my home, I don't have good cell reception so I always need to make sure I am connected to WiFi when I am in the house.
