cannot connect xfinity hotspots because I have no phone service

At a job site, I have no phone service but Xfinity hotspot is available.
I login with xfinity username/password which works.

Then it wants to do a 2FA but the only options won't work and can't work.
I have no internet and that's why I want to use xfinity hotspot.
Can't 2FA with app because no internet.

Can't 2FA with email because no internet

Can't 2FA with text messaging because no phone service.

After I login to xfinity hotspot with valid username/password, I need enough access to the comcast network to allow at least one of those methods to work.

Otherwise the whole system is useless

@Wcastle Thanks for adding a post. That is a unique situation, cell service or online access is required for authorization to work properly. If authorization is not confirmed, it will not allow a successful login. Make sure you enable your cell service, in order to receive texts, it is required, the details for two step authorizations are listed here  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/two-step-verification-xfinity-app-setup.

So WIFI Hotspot is useless if you don't already WIFI so what's the point!!!

If I had Cell Service, I would NOT need the hotspot and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

@Wcastle Thanks for the feedback. Customers need to be online to receive a code through email, or on their cellular connection to connect to receive a text. It is required for the authorization to work.

Just to be clear.
I will never accept this as a solution because it's not a solution.
Not even trying to be a solution.

Hey @Wcastle, one thing I would certainly recommend if you are going to possibly have no service to authenticate your Xfinity account, is to install auto-connect security profile. This would help your devices auto-connect to the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots if you happen to not have access to cellular service.

You would need to connect to an Xfinity Hotspot once with the Xfinity App to authenticate, but once you install the security profile, future Xfinity WiFI Hotspots can be joined automatically without having to sign in. You can learn more by visiting our 'Use the Xfinity app to securely and automatically connect to Xfinity WiFi hotspots' support page.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. We are always happy to help.
