Why do I see charges for voice service in my account?
We get cellular mobile voice and internet from Verizon and subscribe to Xfinity for cable TV and internet in our home and a home WiFi modem. Infinity MyAccount indicates that we are also receiving voice service from Xfinity. We don't need voice service from Xfinity, since we have it from Verizon. Can I reduce the monthly charge from Xfinity by cancelling voice without affecting our cable TV and internet service?

Someone with Xfinity who I spoke to over the phone after posting that question here told me that voice could be removed from the package but the resultant price would be higher rather than lower(!) Oy.
