Verification phone calls from businesses with a number code going directly to voicemail.
With more and more internet logins needing 2-factor with a code, there are times when the phone call goes directly to voicemail without any rings or chances to answer the call. Are there any settings that can be done to remedy this? No audible rings then I get the notification that a new voicemail is recorded. Some of these calls require a # press so, I am SOL.
Thank you.

Hello @vksiu. Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum. Everyone is using two-step authentication these days so I understand the frustration of that call going straight to voicemail. Do you have Xfinity mobile service with us? Do you know if you have a spam blocker turned on?

I have the same problem with my Xfinity land line. The calls go straight to voicemail and the voice message from the bank only captures the last 2 digits of the 6 digit security code.

Hello, this is my xfinity landline as user wb1e has. Would there be any fixes that I can try as I am not using a mobile service. Thank you.

Yes, I am also having this problem. I have Xfinity voice and have had it for well over a decade. I need to use my landline for 2fa verification from my credit bureau thanks to companies like xfinity breaching my secure data to the dark web. Now I can't even get my verifications correctly because Xfinity is quietly sending them DIRECTLY TO VOICEMAIL. I don't have DND or any other features on that would cause this. Is there some setting in place that I am missing? If this continues, my business with Xfinity won't; you guys are riding the edge with me as it is.

I am having the same problem with a landline unable to receive 2FA calls. I had thought the caller's system was failing until I saw all the messages in xfinity voicemail, containing the last part of the 2FA calls (but first section was cut off so only last numbers of the code were audible). The only call forwarding rule points to the actual phone number of the landline in question, but I disabled call forwarding and it still went to voicemail. I could not find anywhere to set number of rings before voicemail picks up. What do I need to do?
