Static on phone

I’ve had severe static in my phone line for the past 3 weeks. I would like to know how to get rid of it.

@XfinityPeterH​  I have the same issue, only when it rains. This has been going on from the beginning of my service. After the rain stops, and things 'dry up' outside (a couple of hours), the static stops.
