Problems transfering old phone number to a new address
I moved and requested a transfer if my phone number ti my new address. Inside if transferring my number, Xfinity cancelled my service and issue and issued a new phone number . How can I get my phone number back?

Hey @user_ba204a, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. I can certainly help retrieve your old number and look up the status of the ticket mentioned in your other post. Can you send us a direct message so I can take a look?
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct messaging" icon near the top right of the page
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
